Termination, Suspension & Access Revocation Policy

TERMINATION, SUSPENSION, AND ACCESS REVOCATION POLICY

EFFECTIVE DATE: January 1, 2025

1. GROUNDS FOR SUSPENSION

Accounts may be suspended (temporarily deactivated) for any of the following:

  • Suspected policy violation pending investigation
  • Non-payment of applicable fees
  • Suspicious account activity
  • Failure to complete required verification
  • Breach of any platform policy
  • Legal hold or regulatory requirement
  • Administrative review

2. GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION

Accounts may be permanently terminated for:

  • Confirmed material breach of any platform policy
  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
  • Illegal conduct using the platform
  • Repeated or egregious policy violations
  • Failure to cure a suspension within the prescribed period
  • Platform shutdown or service discontinuation

3. PROCESS

3.1 SUSPENSION

Suspension may be imposed immediately or with notice at the Platform Owner's discretion. Suspended users will not have access to platform features but their data is retained during the suspension period.

3.2 TERMINATION

Termination may be imposed immediately. Users will be notified at the email address on file where practicable.

3.3 APPEALS

Appeals must be submitted to the Platform Owner's support channel within 14 days of the suspension or termination notice. The Platform Owner's determination on appeals is final.

4. EFFECTS OF TERMINATION

4.1 Upon termination:

  • All access rights immediately cease
  • Active subscriptions are cancelled without refund
  • User-generated content will be retained for up to 90 days then permanently deleted
  • Financial records are retained in accordance with legal requirements

4.2 The Platform Owner retains the right to:

  • Preserve data for legal, audit, or compliance purposes
  • Maintain audit logs of terminated accounts
  • Pursue legal remedies for damages caused prior to termination

5. PLATFORM DISCONTINUATION

5.1 In the event of platform shutdown, users will receive a minimum of 30 days' notice where operationally feasible.

5.2 The Platform Owner will provide reasonable data export capability before shutdown.

6. DATA AFTER TERMINATION

6.1 User-generated content may be exported by the user prior to account termination if technically feasible.

6.2 Post-termination data access requests are handled at the Platform Owner's discretion.
